It looks like the next generation of hippies might be driving around in this adorable new version of a Westfalia Verdie which is a hybrid and has solar panels on the roof. Isn’t She fabulous?

According to the company,  “The Verdier Solar Power model offers several innovations such as a system of intellegent solar panels called “SUN TRACKER.” This system makes it possible to provide electricity to the on-board accessories while the vehicle is in a stationary position. An on-board computer and a GPS (Global Positioning System) calculate the optimal position for the SUN TRACKER.“

My friend Linda who is sitting here next to me as I write this saw the photo and said, “Oh look, it looks like a happy little pill bug.” Totally. You know those pill bugs that roll up in a ball when you touch them? How cute. Can we go buy one now and go on a road trip?
