more swedish design musings

No I don’t read or speak Swedish, but I’m very interested in new design ideas coming out of that forward thinking country, and often frequent the color/design site, Colorama. Here’s a recent before and after project that was profiled on the site.

Quite a difference indeed. The space went from small college dorm room to a spacious and tranquil urban oasis.

    Erica, It’s the same room, if you can believe it. The first design is the after shot and the second is the before. What a difference, huh?

    Beautiful design. Sov gott means “sleep well” in Swedish, very similar to the Danish sov godt. I studied abroad in Copenhagen for a year. Scandinavian design never ceases to amaze me. :)
