Question: I want to make a mosaic of little mirrored tiles around my fireplace. How would that play out in feng shui?

Cheryl: Have you ever noticed that mirrors when placed above fireplaces feel incredibly good?

I have and there’s a good reason for it. Mirrors are of the water element and cthe fireplace is of the fire element.

It’s a very sexy relationship because water can cool fire and fire can heat up water.

Now here’s the thing about your question. It’s important that whenever we place mirrors anywhere, we see at least our complete heads. If not, it can contribute to low self esteem. We do not want to see chopped up parts of ourselves reflected back to us.

How about placing beautiful (and large) recycled glass tiles around your fireplace and you can get the same effect?
