Question: What Feng Shui advice would you give airport designers to help travelers feel safer and more positive?

Cheryl: What a fabulous question. Thanks for asking it.
Airport travel is one of the most stressful experiences for so many us who suffer from anxiety and can sometimes be debilitating. From a feng shui perspective it is important to calm this energy and turn it into something positive that will help all travelers (moving through the same space) feel more relaxed.
This photo taken at Chubu International Airport (NGO) near Nagoya, Japan is an example of very good feng shui. The hole in the roof which here shows the sky and the stars is in itself a very calming aspect on the human nervous system.
The design is circular which is a more female, softer shape that transmits a sense of well being to those who are standing under it. It is also a creative way to bring nature into what can sometimes be a sterile and cold environment. Notice that the balconies on each level are also circular.
This keeps the energy moving and is connected by the strategic placement of continuously moving escalators which supports good flow. I imagine that travelers here are much calmer than in other places in the world.
