hotel rooms designed with sex in mind

Manhattan interior designer Clodagh designed these rooms with sex in mind.
Um, duh, of course it makes total sense to design a space to enhance the activities that will take place there. That’s called good feng shui. So when I read a recent interview with Clodagh, the interior designer of the new W Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, I was tickled by what she said:
“People have more sex in hotel rooms than anywhere else, so it makes sense to design with sex in mind. For one of her latest projects, the W Fort Lauderdale, she positioned the beds for a positive feng shui effect and added a strip of light nearby for subtle night-time illumination. The strip is gelled for a soft, flattering glow so that, as she quips, ‘everyone can look absolutely fantastic even if they don’t have a great tan.’
Ok, so yes, it’s very Florida, but it’s also clever and I bet it feels sexy in there.
