I heart a hair salon with a low carbon footprint.

And it happens to be in New York City.  A fabulous hair salon owned by three Italian straight men built a green structure for their ION Studio hair salon.

According to T Magazine’s Senior Editor, Sandra Ballentine, “the whole salon was designed using green or recycled materials and is powered by wind plus they offer extremely reasonable prices for cuts and color.”

Sweet. I like the plywood hair washing chairs. I wonder if they give good head and scalp massages. That always gets me coming back.
