exploring the pink side of the ‘better living show’
By on April 9th, 2008
Get ready to explore the “pink side” of the green movement at the largest sustainable living show in the Pacific Northwest - - The Better Living Show, held in Portland, Oregon March 28-30, 2008… Seriously fun. Introducing Mr. Ellie Pooh - beautiful, textured paper made out of elephant poo, helping to save elephants in Sri Lanka! Also, get your vegan chocolate fix with Missionary Chocolates made with hemp oil…and a lot of love. Finally, meet Sisters on the Fly–a group of almost 1000 women across the nation who gather together yearly for a sisterly adventure. The eco-pink part? Instead of driving big gas guzzling motor homes, these gals bring along their vintage 1950’s trailers, fixed up with personal style…

I loved this one! Obviously very different from your other vlogs, but still so professional and FUN as usual! Those are some great products/businesses you’ve highlighted…I will definitely look into getting some elephant poo paper next time. Thanks!

We went to this expo and had an eco-enlightening time:) I found some elephant poo paper cards and plan on sending them to friends. Definitely want to spread the word around on positive ways to save the wild elephants and end the people/elephant conflict. Thanks Cheryl for bringing the awareness to others who visit your website.

This was a really interesting vlog! What a fun way to bring awareness of the eco-lifestyle to a wide audience! Naturally my favorite topic was the eco-chocolate… I look foward to seeing more vlogs on this site!

The Better Living Show was great, I loved it! There were so many cool businesses pertaining to so many different topics, there was something for everyone. And the best part was that the show was FREE!! It gave me some great ideas for my home, I bought some really cool products (including the ellie pooh paper), and i could actually afford to go. I can’t wait for next year’s show!
