eco-loving biodegradable water balloons

Yeah Baby, you heard me right; biodegradable water balloons. What a find! These hand made Japanese beauties, according to the owner of the factory in Chiba, Japan, Fusao Ito, “are made out of natural rubber from rubber trees. When the balloons are brought into the sunlight, the color changes a bit and after a week or so they become a little sticky, and they biodegrade eventually.†Source: PingMag
Aren’t they beautiful? Apparently, in the summer they can be seen in many Japanese festivals.
PingMag recently took a visit to the factory. For more details, click here.
