This video clip put the biggest smile on my face this morning. Sometimes it’s about going back to being a 3 year old again where pink furry things that sing are pure joy. I love you Jen.

Just watch this. It’s inspiring.

P.S. According to the New York Times, “TerraCycle has struck a deal with Kraft Foods to turn its used packaging into purses, backpacks and other merchandise.” That’s hot. What an enormous diversion of waste into the landfill.

Every since I was a little girl I have always adored show tunes. So much so, that as an adult, (especially when I’m feeling a bit gray,) I’ll put on my favorite show tunes cd which happens to be the best of many collections, too many to name here. And yeah, I’ll just break out and sing and dance! It always makes me feel better.
So getting to the point here. My dear friend and fabulous writer Linda Scarlett just turned me on to (Portland based writer) Marc Acito’s video, “Attack of the Theater People”, which is as charming and it is heartwarming. You’re going to love it! My heart melted and brought me back to my little girl self, which is very much alive, singing and dancing.
By the way, heart warming and charming both fall under the category of creativity, which falls under self-care and following your dream. That is very healing to the planet.
Hey Mark. By spreading your creative love, you are helping Mother Earth. But….just out of curiosity, do you recycle?

I was reading YES! magazine last night and landed on an article about John Francis, who after witnessing a massive oil spill in San Francisco in 1971, decided not to speak and walk the earth for 17 years. I was moved beyond words. Listen to John’s story. He’s brilliant. He’s a maverick and most importantly, he’s an earth healer. His voice is calming and his vision clear. He wrote a book about his journey called Planetwalker and started Planetwalk, “a non-profit educational organization dedicated to raising environmental consciousness and promoting earth stewardship.” A movie is now being made about his life…to be released in 2009. I wonder who’ll play John…Any thoughts? I think Morgan Freeman would make a wonderful older John.
