Okay so when I see something that puts a smile on my face, my first instinct is to post it here, especially when it has to do with the pottie. How fricken adorable is that sign? Very. It was taken at last weeks design graduation show at Köln International School of Design in Cologne Germany. Oh you Germans, you’re so cute. Can we adopt you?
I just happened to come across some funny animated short tips from animals on how to live an eco-friendly lifestyle. The best part? They were produced by Wallace and Gromit Aardman Animations studio for Animal Planet and I’ve seriously got a thing for Wallace and Gromit.
Ok, so my darling friend and inspiring artist Jeff Mihalyo sent me this u-tube link in response to yesterday’s posting on elephant poo. Thank-you Jeff! Just watch it and you will be amazed…I got the chills all over. I think elephants are smarter than humans and have a thing or two to teach us…..and since we are on the subject of artists and elephants, here’s one of my favorite of Jeff’s paintings called Elephant Bridge.

Artist Jeff Mihalyo is seriously talented and cute too! Click here for more info on his work.
I was reading Green Girl Guide the other day and ran across these funny new terms (are they serious?) that are popping up in the world of eco-language. It made me grin silly from ear to ear. Anyone heard of these?
-The Scuppie (socially conscious upwardly-mobile person) -Ecotarian - n. One who refrains from eating meat that isn’t wild game (eats deer, grouse, duck, goose, javelina, etc., but not beef, farmed pig, industrial raised chickens, etc.) -Ecosexual - n. A person who’s into hybrid cars, low-energy lightbulbs, and recycling. Now that environmentalism is hot, ecosexuals are getting increasingly fashionable. -Eco hoe – n. A woman who is a “treehugger” and controls her boyfiend/husbands outdoor activities. -Eco babe – n. Passionate, powerful, beautiful women changing the world. -Ecogasm - n. A feeling of overwhelming joy stemming from being in or viewing an amazingly beautiful landscape. Also: rapture from being in a pristine natural environment.
Ok, so dare I say, I’m an ecobabe scuppie who loves ecogasms. Hmmm….What are you?
