ad agency in amsterdam gets a cardboard office

I’m loving the creativity among designers and recipients of such works as in the above office space in Amsterdam which is made out of cardboard.

You might remember my post about the ad agency in Paris that gets a carboard office. This is a similar concept, using the same materials, different design, different country. Just as cool.

So here’s the deal: The Dutch designer Joost van Bleiswijk has designed a cardboard office interior for the new Amsterdam advertising office Nothing.

Oh Apple, you look so sleek and lovely sitting atop those cardboard desks.

Van Bleiswijk created the interior using over 5,382 square feet of reinforced cardboard without any screws or glue. His technique includes reducing archetypal objects such as sideboards to two dimensional components, which are then laser cut and assembled by slotting the pieces together. For more on his technique follow this.

Beautiful lounge/waiting area that combines different elements.

Nothing is an Amsterdam-based, independent entrepreneurial agency that delivers innovation and commercial creativity for local and international clients out of a cardboard box. Literally. The Nothing office, built entirely of cardboard, was designed by internationally recognized designers Alrik Koudenburg and Joost van Bleiswijk.
